Assistant Manager - Palm Court Restaurant
The Langham, London; Europe’s first Grand Hotel, is currently recruiting for an Assistant Manager in our Palm Court Restaurant to join our talented Palm Court team. We’re an equal opportunities employer, and we welcome and value applications from all communities.
About the Role
As a Palm Court Restaurant Assistant Manager, your main role will be to:
- Ensure the smooth running of breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea, and private events taking place in Palm Court
- Demonstrate a real understanding of achieving and maintaining quality through effective service management
- Lead a team that is genuine in delivering service excellence
- Be operational and visible to the team
- Assist with the achievement of departmental KPI results
- Support the Departmental Trainer in conducting all on-the-job training for all colleagues to ensure all Company standards are adhered to
Do you have?
- Similar experience in a luxury 5* hotel
- Passion for and excellent knowledge of food, beverage and service
- The ability to work under pressure
- The ability to lead by example and motivate a strong team
- The ability to adapt swiftly and seamlessly to situations that arise
- Confidence, professionalism and engaging personality
- Good communication skills and a very good level of English
