Assistant RHWM Opportunity in Carron Court, Bathgate.
As an Assistant
- You will be responsible for undertaking a range of duties to ensure that internal communal areas are clean, hygienic and meet the standards expected by our tenants and visitors to the development.
- You will also assist by preparing the dining room for mealtimes, heating prepared meals and delivering them to tenants.
- On occasion, the Assistant will be expected to clean vacant flats and/or external pathways of the development and provide general and emergency assistance to tenants, as required.
- In addition you will respond to property emergencies, taking appropriate action when the Manager is off duty and providing cover for the development office as required.
Hours of Employment
- 10.5 hours per week
- Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday - 11:00 to 14:30
About You
- Experience of a similar type of role would be an advantage but is not an essential requirement as training will be provided.
- You should bring to the role a genuine interest in working with older people and an ability to respond calmly to requests for assistance.
- REHIS Elementary Food Hygiene Qualification or equivalent would be desirable.
