Assistant Risk & Assurance Manager
Location: London | Working Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days in Office) Salary: £50k plus bonus and benefits
About the Role
Are you an internal audit or risk professional seeking your next challenge within the music industry? We are recruiting an Assistant Risk & Assurance Manager for a leading organisation with a significant presence in the music sector.
This opportunity allows you to:
- Take ownership of audit and assurance activities

- Work closely with senior stakeholders to deliver independent assurance and promote a culture of continuous improvement
Key Responsibilities
As an Assistant Risk & Assurance Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Leading end-to-end internal audit assignments across financial and operational areas
- Conducting controls testing and identifying key process improvements
- Supporting risk management activities, including risk assessments and monitoring emerging risks
- Producing high-quality audit reports and presenting findings to stakeholders
- Advising on risk and control considerations for new projects, systems, and processes
- Fostering strong business relationships and promoting a positive risk-aware culture

About You
Your experience should include:
- Experience delivering internal audits (planning, fieldwork, reporting, and action planning)
- Strong knowledge of risk management, control testing, and assurance methodologies
- Ability to assess control effectiveness and propose practical improvements
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive mindset
- Part-qualified in a relevant professional body such as:
- Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
- Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)
- Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ACA)
- Or equivalent qualification
