Job Description
The Assistant Sales Desk Manager plays a key role in supporting the Sales Desk Manager with the day-to-day leadership, performance, and operational management of the Sales Desk.
This role is responsible for driving team performance, maintaining high service standards, delivering insightful KPI reporting, coaching team members, and ensuring the smooth running of the department.
They will also provide full management cover for the Hire Desk Manager during periods of annual leave, absence, or when they are working from other business locations.
Experience
Job requirements
- Previous experience in an Internal Sales Team Leader, Sales Supervisor, Assistant Manager, or similar leadership role.
- Experience using CRM and sales management systems.
Skills
- Experience coaching and developing sales teams to improve results.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge
- Strong understanding of sales KPIs, reporting, and performance management.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads in a fast-paced environment.
- Commercial awareness with a proactive and customer-focused approach.
