Assistant Shop Manager

Assistant Shop Manager Salary: £11,544 per annum (pro-rata, FTE equivalent £28,860) Team: Teddington Hours: Part-time (15 hours/week) Contract: Permanent Location: Teddington, TW11 8QZ


About the Role

As Assistant Shop Manager, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Running a fundraising shop that aligns with the organisation’s mission.
  • Caring for customers, donors, and volunteers while maintaining a positive experience.
  • Balancing retail leadership, people management, and upholding charitable values.

This role blends retail management, people leadership, and charity governance.


About You

Ideal for you if you:

  • Have experience in charity retail, ideally in a supporting or managerial capacity.
  • Demonstrate resilience, adaptability, and strong commercial awareness while reflecting the organisation’s core values.
  • Showcase fairness, patience, and empathy as a leader—key traits when managing teams.
  • Occasionally support other stores for holidays/cover (with prior agreement).
