Assistant Site Manager – High-Spec Residential Development (60 Units)
Location: Enfield, North London
Salary: Competitive + Package
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
About the Role
We are seeking an ambitious and driven Assistant Site Manager to join our team on an exciting 60-unit high-specification residential development in Enfield. Working alongside the Site Manager and Project Team, you will play a key role in delivering a quality-led scheme safely, on programme, and to the highest standards of workmanship.
This is an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Site Manager looking to progress their career with a reputable contractor delivering high-quality residential projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Site Manager with the day-to-day management of site operations.
- Ensure works are carried out safely and in accordance with company health & safety procedures.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors to ensure productivity and quality standards are achieved.
- Monitor progress against programme and report any issues or delays.
- Carry out quality inspections and snagging throughout the construction process.
- Support the management of material deliveries, logistics, and site housekeeping.
- Assist with site inductions, toolbox talks, and safety inspections.
- Maintain accurate site records, reports, and photographic evidence.
- Ensure all works comply with building regulations, NHBC standards, and project specifications.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and the wider project team.

Requirements
- Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager, Site Supervisor, Finishing Foreman, or similar role within residential construction.
- Experience delivering new-build housing or apartment schemes.
- Good understanding of construction processes, sequencing, and quality control.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced site environment.
- Competent with Microsoft Office and site reporting systems.
- A proactive attitude with a desire to learn and develop.

Essential Qualifications
- SMSTS or SSSTS
- CSCS Card
- First Aid at Work
- Full UK Driving Licence (preferred)
