Assistant Store Director - London Regent Street

JOB PURPOSE

We are hiring an Assistant Store Director to help lead our Global Flagship on Regent Street, our largest mainline store in the region and a true expression of Burberry’s heritage and innovation. This is a pivotal leadership role where commercial excellence meets elevated client experience, shaping how customers connect with our brand at its most iconic.

Working in close partnership with the Store Director, you will inspire a high-performing team, drive business results, and bring the Burberry experience to life across every moment in store. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact at the forefront of modern British luxury.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with the Store Director to lead the flagship store, delivering exceptional performance across sales, service, and operations
  • Set the tone on the shop floor, creating an environment where every client journey feels personal, seamless, and memorable
  • Coach and develop team members in real time, building capability and confidence to elevate both individual and collective performance
  • Take ownership of key commercial areas, using insight and analysis to identify opportunities and drive results
  • Strengthen client relationships and support the growth of clienteling across the team to build long-term loyalty
  • Ensure operational excellence at scale, maintaining the highest standards across stock, compliance, and store presentation

PERSONAL PROFILE

  • Strong leadership experience within retail, ideally in luxury or premium environments
  • A proven ability to develop, motivate, and inspire diverse teams to achieve outstanding results
  • A deep understanding of client experience, with a passion for delivering personalised service
  • Commercially astute, with confidence in analysing performance and shaping action plans
  • A collaborative mindset, with excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on leadership in a fast-paced flagship setting
