£32,500 + Bonus
Are you a commercially minded Assistant Manager who enjoys speaking with customers, building relationships and turning enquiries into sales?
We're looking for an Assistant Manager to join a successful and expanding business in Kings Heath. This is a varied, customer-facing role where you'll support the Store Manager with the day-to-day running of the site, while playing a key part in driving sales, converting enquiries and delivering a great customer experience.

Work-life balance
- You'll work shifts between 8:30am and 6:00pm Monday to Friday, with reduced weekend hours of 9:00am to 5:00pm on Saturdays and 10:00am to 4:00pm on Sundays.
- Weekends are shared on a rota basis, typically with one full weekend off every two to three weeks.
- Days off in lieu are always provided when working weekends.

The role
- Support the Store Manager with the daily running of the site, ensuring it operates smoothly and efficiently.
- Handle customer enquiries across phone, email and face to face, building rapport and identifying the best solution for each customer.
- Convert enquiries into bookings and sales through confident, consultative conversations.
- Support local sales activity and help drive store performance against targets.
- Review reports and identify opportunities to improve conversion, customer follow-up, service and efficiency.
- Deliver excellent customer service and ensure a positive experience at every stage of the customer journey.
- Lead by example, supporting and motivating the team to achieve high standards.
- Process bookings, payments and administration accurately.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety procedures and site standards.
- Take ownership in the Store Manager's absence and support wider business growth.

What you'll bring
- Experience as an Assistant Manager, Supervisor, Team Leader, Sales Manager or similar in a customer-facing environment.
- Confidence speaking with customers, building rapport and converting enquiries into sales.
- A proactive, sales-focused mindset with the ability to spot opportunities and follow up effectively.
- Strong customer service skills and a genuine interest in helping people find the right solution.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to support store performance.
- A hands-on, people-first approach.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
