Why Work at Joe & The Juice
JOE & THE JUICE is a people-centric food and beverage company built around culture, not just juice, sandwiches, coffee, or more. When you join us, you step into a high-energy community where the music is loud, the bar is your stage, and your personality matters as much as your skills.
We believe in four simple virtues that shape everything we do:
- Positive Attitude
- Inclusion
- Social Ties
- Growth
For us, this means that when you embrace a cup-half-full mindset, welcome people from every background, build real friendships across the bar by creating fantastic guest experiences, and use every shift to learn something new—you step beyond the role of a Juicer. You join a community that finds purpose and meaning in what you do every day.
From the first day, you’ll be part of an international network of Juicers, where support, celebration of wins, and mutual growth are part of the everyday. You’ll learn by doing, progress through a clear Moneyball career path, and be part of a company where over 75% of employees started as Juicers!
If you love fast-paced service, music, people, and turning a job into a lifestyle, Joe can become the place where you build skills, friendships, and a career—one that might take you across cities, countries, and roles.
Assistant Store Manager
As an Assistant Store Manager, you’ll assist your Store Manager in ensuring the daily operation of the store runs at its best, while adhering to market-specific legal requirements, company policies, and risk & compliance structures. You’ll lead and engage your team to create superior guest experiences, ultimately optimising overall store performance.
Your success in this role hinges on your ability—together with your Store Manager—to deliver best-in-class guest experiences, turning regular customers into beloved returning guests. The shared goal is to meet or exceed store performance targets through existing and new commercial initiatives.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

About Joe & The Juice
JOE & THE JUICE began in Copenhagen in 2002 as a healthy fast-casual concept. Since then, we’ve grown to over 500+ locations across 20 countries, employing 4,500+ people worldwide.
From day one, our mission has been to prove there’s no compromise between taste and health. We serve freshly prepared juices, shakes, coffee, and sandwiches in relaxed, contemporary cafés that blend convenience with urban flair. But we go further—our focus isn’t just on products but on the entire experience around the bar, for guests as well as Juicers in every location.
Driven by our Moneyball career system, we emphasise internal growth, ensuring most leaders—including top executives—started behind the bar. We are dedicated to a people-centric and sustainability-focused future, rooted in our Nordic heritage and commitment to a better tomorrow.
