How You Could Help Us to Enchant the World with Chocolate
This role is based in our brand-new store in Milton Keynes, which is opening Summer 2026 and operates on a 40-hour-per-week basis.
In This Role, You Will
- Support the store management team in achieving the retail plan
- Contribute to the operational excellence and financial performance of the store in the Lindt UK retail division using responsible business practices and adhering to all company policies
- Embody the Lindt brand with passion and be part of a team of Lindt brand ambassadors who are experts at delivering the Lindt Service proposition and exceeding customer expectations every day
- Actively contribute to fostering an environment of collaboration through sharing knowledge, information, and teamwork to drive ideas to action
Key Responsibilities
Maximising Sales Turnover and Store Profitability to Grow and Drive the Business Forward
- Use provided business tools, alongside good personal judgment, to drive and exceed store sales and profit targets
- Track store KPIs, identifying opportunities and risks, supported by a clear course of action
- Align with your line manager on action plans from store performance reviews
- Collaborate with your line manager on opportunities for key trading periods
- Support your line manager in:
- Monitoring store expenditure
- Cost budgets management
- Staffing optimisation to meet business demands

Delivering and Developing Operational Excellence
- Maintain a self-disciplined culture focused on flawless execution of processes, procedures, and initiatives, including:
- Consistent delivery of presentation standards in store
- Implement and manage audit and loss prevention controls, delivering full compliance in all areas including:
- Inventory
- Cash reconciliation
- Deliveries
- Complete online Health and Safety tools and take outlined actions for:
- Compliance
- Creating a safe working environment for all team members
- Ensure:
- Operations, processes, and systems in store are implemented and reviewed regularly to enable:
- Smooth running
- Timely resolution of issues

- Effectively manage your time to:

Delivering Outstanding Premium Visibility and Communication with Customers
- Empower a team of Lindt brand ambassadors to embody the Lindt Service Proposition by embodying the company values and demonstrating a customer-centric culture
- Participate in the global Retail Mystery Shop program in order to:
- Recognise strengths and share best practices
- Identify skill gaps and training requirements
- Execute:
- In-store marketing activities
- Monthly visual merchandising plan aligned with company standards
- Stay informed of current trends and contribute to:
- Weekly Competitor Watch for the local market
- Understand and anticipate consumer needs, and go the extra mile to delight customers
Leading for an Inspiring Place to Work

- Develop skills and capability in your store team and maintain a culture of continuous learning that empowers others to meet goals
- Support the store team in achieving PDP (Personal Development Plan) objectives
- Conduct monthly 1-2-1s with:
- Genuine feedback
- Leveraging coaching styles as appropriate to guide your team's performance
- Support in recruiting passionate and driven individuals that will complement the team and embody the Lindt brand
- Partner with your line manager:
- To resolve performance issues in a timely manner
- Utilise Area Manager and HR support where necessary
- Communicate effectively with:
- Stakeholders and all business departments

What Experience You’ll Bring
- Proven management experience within a retail organisation is preferable — along with a genuine love of all that a career in retail has to offer
- Strong track record of contributing to the management of high-performing teams, including:
- Understanding of people leadership (talent development, succession planning, recruitment, disciplinary processes etc.)
- Numeracy with sound:
- Analytical skills
- IT skills
- Highly motivated self-starter, with a drive for results
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, enabling:
- Relationship-building at all levels
- Influence across teams
- An infectious can-do attitude — ready to try new things and enthuse everyone you meet
