Role Description
The Assistant Store Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the City of Edinburgh. This role supports the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, ensuring an exceptional customer experience, and achieving sales and profitability targets.

Responsibilities include:


Get help with your application

- Supervising and coaching store team members
- Coordinating staff schedules
- Maintaining visual merchandising and brand presentation standards
- Monitoring stock levels
- Supporting loss prevention initiatives
- Ensuring that store policies and procedures are followed
- Handling customer inquiries and escalations
- Analyzing store performance metrics
- Contributing to local marketing or clienteling activities to strengthen customer relationships
Qualifications
- Strong focus on Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service, with the ability to create a welcoming, luxury retail experience.
- Excellent Communication skills to interact effectively with customers, team members, and management.
- Proficiency in Store Management, including staff coordination, sales floor supervision, and operational execution.
- Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices to safeguard merchandise and support compliance with company standards.
- Previous experience in fashion or luxury retail, preferably in a supervisory or team-lead position.
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and holidays, and to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
- Professional fluency in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
