Responsibilities: Your Scope & Impact

As Assistant Head Coach, your focus is transformational:

✅ Leadership & Team Development

  • Work alongside the Head Coach (Store Manager) to foster a coaching culture.
  • Recruit talent, develop capabilities, and measure performance to build a high-performing team.
  • Foster an inclusive workplace where Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) is a priority.
  • Reduce staff turnover through exceptional support and engagement strategies.

✅ Operational Performance & Excellence

  • Collaborate on strategic initiatives to drive revenue growth, maximize service quality, and exceed targets.
  • Streamline processes—optimizing inventory, service delivery, and operational efficiency.
  • Implement data-driven insights to refine sales strategies, personalize experiences, and increase productivity.

✅ Consistent Delivery

  • Ensure the store adheres to NIKE’s rigorous standards and guidelines.
  • Drive compliance through commercial excellence, retail execution, and athlete engagement.
  • Oversee key areas such as Commercial, Athlete, and Consumer Experience teams.

✅ Insights & Reporting

  • Produce regular reports on store performance, market trends, and customer insights to inform strategic decisions.
  • Work closely with corporate partners to identify synergies and best practices.

  • Confirmed retail operations & management experience is essential.
  • Demonstrated track record of developing and influencing teams toward excellence.

  • Ability to work carefully with special customers while scaling delivery.

🔹 Communication & Flexibility

🔹 Competencies in Demand

  • Strong administrative skills with a data-driven approach to success.

Ideal Experience & Qualifications

  • Formal qualification in retail management, business or equivalent is a plus.
  • Skills in Retail Operations combined with Leadership and Coaching strengths.
  • Understanding of Sales techniques and customer journey optimization.

Note: Relocations are not available for this role. Applicants must already reside in the UK.
