# Assistant Store Manager – Rituals
About the Role
As Assistant Store Manager, your focus is on motivating your team and delivering a meaningful shopping experience for every customer. You serve as the second-in-command, ready to step in for your Store Manager when required, ensuring seamless operations while driving exceptional customer service, fostering strong teamwork, and optimising store performance daily.
Your responsibilities include:
- Setting a positive example for your team and representing Rituals as a genuine ambassador.
- Supporting the Store Manager in cultivating a culture of trust through constructive, two-way feedback.
- Leading recruitment, hiring, and retention efforts to build a diverse, talented store team.
- Coaching team members to boost engagement and help them achieve their full potential.
- Assisting with day-to-day operational and business activities.

Essential Experience & Skills
- Prior work experience at the Assistant Store Manager level—or equivalent—in retail or hospitality, with operational or managerial exposure.
- Strong people management skills, including:
- Effective communication and relationship-building.
- Ability to motivate, coach, and inspire teams.
- Knowledge-sharing and fostering behavioural change to develop talent.
- Proven decision-making and problem-solving skills.
