Assistant Store Manager - Edinburgh St James (40 hours)

As Assistant Store Manager, you’ll be a key part of our shop team, creating unforgettable experiences for every customer while supporting the Store Manager to lead the business and develop your own skills.
About the Role
You are Our Second-in-Command and responsible for:
- Driving the store’s performance by ensuring exceptional customer service, collaborative teamwork, and efficient operations.
- Acting as a role model—you’ll champion Rituals’ values and set the tone for our team, based on a culture of trust, positive feedback, and constructive development.
- Coaching team members to boost engagement and potential, while supporting recruitment, hiring, and team retention to build a diverse and talented team.
- Assisting the Store Manager with day-to-day business activities, stock and inventory management, and maintaining high store standards in a fast-paced, high-footfall outlet environment.

Skills & Experience
We’re searching for:
- Relevant retail or hospitality experience at Assistant Store Manager level or equivalent.
- Strong people management skills, including communication, motivation, coaching, fostering connection, and inspiration.
- Experience in knowledge-sharing to drive behavioural change and employee development.
- Proven decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
