Assistant Store Manager – Permanent (39 Hours/Week)

Location & Hours

  • Days of work: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays
  • Hours: 39 per week
  • Pay range: €38,000 – €43,200 per annum (pro-rata for full-time equivalent)

About the Role

We’re seeking an organised, proactive, and results-driven Assistant Store Manager to lead from the shop floor, drive retail operations, and guide a high-performing team to meet targets while delivering exceptional customer service.

This position will act as both a commercial and operational leader, supporting store success when the Store Manager is absent, while ensuring CVMs (Customer Value Moments), team engagement, and brand standards are upheld.


Key Responsibilities

Commercial Focus

  • Drive store sales performance by analysing KPIs, customer feedback, and sales data, using insights to guide commercial decisions.
  • Support the Store Manager in developing and executing business strategies to exceed sales targets.
  • Champion visual merchandising to reflect brand guidelines and maximise commercial impact.

Customer Experience

Store Operations

  • Manage rotas, stock control, and finances, ensuring compliance with security, health/safety, and operational standards.
  • Optimise staffing levels based on commercial needs and seasonal trends.
  • Maintain high shop-floor standards and smoother merchandising workflows.

Requirements

We are looking for a highly capable leader with:

  • Demonstrated experience in retail brand management or fast-paced consumer product environments.
  • Proven success in driving sales and profitability on the retail floor.
  • Strong hunter incentives and buyer instincts that inspire teams to exceed targets.
  • Exceptional communication, organisation, and adaptability—highly multitasked roles require flexibility.
  • A growth mindset: openness to feedback, resilience through change, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • A positive energy aligned with Pandora’s core values, alongside a polished appearance that reflects the brand.
  • Passion for Pandora’s mission—deriving joy and meaning from storytelling through jewellery.

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous senior supervisor or Assistant Manager roles within luxury retail.
  • Strong interest in flowers, personalising moments, and accessible luxury (a Pandora brand resonance).
