Position: Assistant Store Manager – NEW STORE OPENING
Location: Winchester
Salary: £29,000
Contract: Full Time – Permanent

The Role:
The Assistant Store Manager plays a pivotal role in bringing the Healthspan mission to life at a store level. You are a trusted presence for customers and colleagues, leading with integrity, empathy, and professionalism. You will support build and develop a high-performing team that delivers outstanding, compliant customer experiences, grounded in trust and genuine care. Through strong leadership and operational excellence, you will drive sustainable performance while fostering a loyal customer base and an engaged in-store community.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, inspire, and develop an empathetic team that delivers needs-led, compliant customer consultations
- Create a welcoming, inclusive store environment where customers feel heard, supported, and confident in their choices
- Role model Healthspan’s advisory approach, ensuring guidance is accurate, clear and always compliant
- Build long-term customer relationships and a sense of community
- Set clear performance expectations and support the team to achieve targets in a responsible, compliant and service led way over a “sales” approach
- Train and coach team members to be credible, trusted advisors through expert product knowledge and a detailed customer journey.
- Drive expert product knowledge across an intricate range and a regulated sector
- Act as a Healthspan ambassador, representing the brand with professionalism, warmth, and integrity

About You:
- Proven experience as an ASM – ideally 2 years
- Experienced in environments that have intricate product ranges and detailed customer journeys
- Comfortable leading meaningful, sometimes sensitive customer conversations with empathy and maturity
- Strong understanding of compliance and the importance of delivering guidance responsibly
- A natural relationship-builder who earns trust through credibility and consistency
- Genuine passion for health, wellbeing, and helping people make informed choices
- Values loyalty both to your team and to the communities you serve
- Calm, considered leadership style with the ability to inspire confidence in others
