Assistant Store Manager – Leeds
£28,000 - £30,000 plus uncapped commission and rewards
Do you know how to turn excellent customer service into lasting client relationships? Can you lead from the front, support a sales team and help create a luxury shopping experience people remember?
The Role
Neve Jewels Group is looking for an experienced Assistant Manager to join our Leeds store.
This is a hands-on role where no two days will feel the same. You will work closely with the Store Manager to keep the store running smoothly, support the team and help drive sales.
You will be visible on the shop floor, leading by example and making sure every customer receives a warm, personal and professional experience.
The role is full-time, working 40 hours across any five out of seven days, including weekends and bank holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Support, coach and motivate the sales team
- Help the team meet and exceed individual and store targets
- Lead daily operations when the Store Manager is unavailable
- Assist with rotas, stocktakes, training and health and safety
- Build genuine relationships with new and returning customers
- Guide customers through their buying journey with confidence
- Handle customer concerns calmly and professionally
- Train the team on product knowledge and consultative selling
- Maintain high standards across presentation, service and store operations
- Bring energy, professionalism and a positive attitude to the team

The Person
You will need at least five years’ experience in luxury retail, ideally within jewellery, and a strong record of achieving sales targets.
You will also be:
- Confident leading and supporting a team
- Comfortable working with high-end clients
- Friendly, polished and easy to talk to
- Commercially aware and results-focused
- Calm under pressure
- Quick to learn new systems
- Detail-focused with a strong eye for presentation
- Genuinely motivated by delivering excellent service
