Assistant Store Manager (Nights Operations AHC) - NEW NIKE LONDON FLAGSHIP
Start Date: October 2026
Do you know what we’re missing to build the best retail team on the globe? Someone like YOU!
In NIKE Retail, our Assistant Store Managers are called Assistant Head Coaches. We are looking for an Assistant Head Coach Nights Operations to lead the overnight operation of the London Flagship Store, ensuring the store opens every day fully reset, replenished and ready to serve our athletes, consumers and communities. Leading and inspiring a team of athletes through the night, this role brings the marketplace to life—executing effective delivery and replenishment processes with a deep understanding of stock movement and handling to keep efficiency and productivity consistently high. Command of store layout, (VM) Visual Merchandising standards and commercial priorities are the key success factors, keeping the flagship premium, consumer-obsessed and fully trade-ready the moment the doors open.
As an Assistant Head Coach Nights Operations, you will:
Team Leadership
- Set clear expectations and role-model the standards every athlete should deliver, ensuring store standards are maintained consistently at the highest level.
- Coach and manage performance against productivity, efficiency, and execution targets, holding athletes accountable to clear nightly goals.
- Build a team culture rooted in belonging, responsibility, engagement, and ownership.
- Lead effective night briefings and handovers that clarify priorities, share commercial context, recognize wins, and keep athletes motivated through the shift.
Stock Management processes
- Execute delivery, processing, and replenishment routines consistently to NIKE store standards.
- Establish clear ways of working for efficient stock movement, accurate replenishment, and strong overnight execution.
- Maintain stockroom standards, product bin compliance, and organized stock to support operational excellence.
- Monitor stock accuracy and flow overnight, resolving blockers to protect availability and size integrity before opening.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
