Assistant Store Manager (Assistant Head Coach) - OPERATIONS - NEW NIKE LONDON FLAGSHIP
Start Date: October 2026
As an Assistant Head Coach, Operations, you are:
- Building, leading, and developing a high-performing and diverse operations team while fostering an inclusive, collaborative, and consumer-focused environment.
- Driving operational excellence across the store, ensuring efficient execution of daily processes that support commercial success and an exceptional consumer experience.
- Managing labor planning, operational routines, and productivity to achieve business goals while maximizing efficiency and service standards.
- Owning the end-to-end product journey within the store, including receiving, inventory accuracy, replenishment, stock management, order fulfillment, and RTV (Return to Vendor) processes.
- Leading omnichannel operations, ensuring seamless execution of services such as Ship-from-Store, Click & Collect (BOPIS), digital fulfillment, and inventory visibility.
- Leveraging data, reporting, and operational insights to identify opportunities, solve complex business challenges, and drive continuous improvement across store operations.
- Supporting the implementation of NIKE's strategic priorities, including sustainability initiatives, membership growth, digital services, and operational innovation.
- Partnering with store leadership to optimize resources, streamline processes, and deliver a premium consumer experience through efficient operations.
- Demonstrating expertise in loss prevention, cash handling, compliance, and risk management practices to protect NIKE’s people, products, and assets.
- Ensuring all operational activities align with NIKE standards, policies, and safety guidelines.
- Building strong partnerships with business partners across stores, districts, and headquarters to drive operational consistency and best-practice sharing.
- Communicating complex operational information clearly and effectively to teammates, leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Leading by example through coaching, mentoring, and developing future operations leaders while creating a culture of accountability, agility, and teamwork.

What you bring:
- A passion for NIKE and/or love of sport.
- Some experience in retail and/or leadership positions.
- Very good command of the English language (written and spoken).
- Experience and competency in serving exceptional consumer service.
- Ability to coach and develop a strong team.
- Strong focus on communication.
- Flexibility to work in shifts and on weekends.
Qualifications:
- Extensive retail experience including experience in management.
- Enthusiasm and passion about sports and/or sports fashion.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends.
