Under Armour – Assistant Store Manager

Location: London, Battersea Power Station

Hours: Full Time

Salary: Competitive

As an Assistant Store Manager, you won’t just be supporting the Store Manager—you’ll help lead the charge. From driving daily operations to coaching teammates and delivering results, you'll play a key role in creating a high-performing, customer-focused store. Ready to lead, grow, and make an impact? Your Impact

  • Support the business plan by driving the achievement of:
    • Sales
    • Profitability
    • Other key store objectives
  • Recruit, hire, coach, and retain a high-performing team
  • Analyze daily sales trends to make real-time strategic decisions
  • Manage payroll and scheduling to maximize productivity
  • Direct merchandising moves to optimize presentation and maintain brand standards
  • Understand and monitor loss prevention standards (including store audit compliance)
  • Lead or rotate ownership of key areas such as:
    • Talent
    • Visuals
    • Operations
  • Support omni-channel efforts by promoting Under Armour’s apps, social campaigns, and athlete contests
  • Deliver a compelling vision aligned with UA’s Core Competencies and functional behaviors
  • Drive teammate engagement and development, recognizing and rewarding top performers
  • Resolve performance issues with teammates
  • Communicate priority issues to the Store Manager promptly and collaborate on solutions
  • Partner with the Store Manager to reinforce Under Armour policies and procedures
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management

Requirements

This role requires the following minimum qualifications:

  • At least 18 years old
  • High school degree or equivalent
  • 1 year of retail experience (preferably full-time)
  • Fluency in the local language required; basic English skills are a plus
  • Full-time availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Comfortable with or willingness to learn technology (e.g., handheld devices and mobile systems)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Able to perform daily tasks including:
    • Standing, walking, bending
    • Lifting cartons weighing up to 25 lbs./12kgs (accommodations considered if needed)
  • Knowledge of employment laws, including compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
