As an Assistant Store Manager, you won’t just be supporting the Store Manager—you’ll help lead the charge. Your Impact
- Support the business plan by driving the achievement of:
- Sales
- Profitability
- Other key store objectives
- Recruit, hire, coach, and retain a high-performing team
- Analyze daily sales trends to make real-time strategic decisions
- Manage payroll and scheduling to maximize productivity
- Direct merchandising moves to optimize presentation and maintain brand standards
- Understand and monitor loss prevention standards (including store audit compliance)
- Lead or rotate ownership of key areas such as:
- Talent
- Visuals
- Operations
- Support omni-channel efforts by promoting Under Armour’s apps, social campaigns, and athlete contests
- Deliver a compelling vision aligned with UA’s Core Competencies and functional behaviors
- Drive teammate engagement and development, recognizing and rewarding top performers
- Resolve performance issues with teammates
- Communicate priority issues to the Store Manager promptly and collaborate on solutions
- Partner with the Store Manager to reinforce Under Armour policies and procedures
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management

Requirements
This role requires the following minimum qualifications:
- At least 18 years old
- High school degree or equivalent
- 1 year of retail experience (preferably full-time)
- Fluency in the local language required; basic English skills are a plus
- Full-time availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Comfortable with or willingness to learn technology (e.g., handheld devices and mobile systems)
- Strong communication skills
- Able to perform daily tasks including:
- Standing, walking, bending
- Lifting cartons weighing up to 25 lbs./12kgs (accommodations considered if needed)
- Knowledge of employment laws, including compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
