Assistant Store Manager – Norwich
£28,000 - £30,000 plus Uncapped Commission, Rewards & Benefits
Do you know how to turn excellent service into a memorable customer experience? Are you an experienced luxury retail professional who enjoys motivating a team and driving strong sales?
The role
Diamonds Factory is looking for an experienced Assistant Manager to join our successful Norwich store.
This is a hands-on role where no two days will be exactly the same. You will work closely with the Store Manager to support the team, keep the store running smoothly and ensure every customer feels genuinely welcomed and valued.
You will work 40 hours over five days, including weekends and bank holidays.
Key Responsibilities
You will:
- Support, coach and motivate the sales team
- Help colleagues achieve and exceed their individual targets
- Create a positive, encouraging and professional store environment
- Build genuine relationships with customers
- Listen carefully and guide customers through important purchases
- Share your product knowledge with the wider team
- Help improve consultative selling and customer service standards
- Support the Store Manager with sales plans and daily operations
- Handle customer queries and escalations with confidence
- Represent the Diamonds Factory brand with professionalism and style

The person
You will have at least two years’ experience in luxury retail, ideally within jewellery, with a strong record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
You will be confident working with high-end customers and supporting a busy sales team. You will also be approachable, commercially aware and comfortable solving problems when they arise.
Strong communication skills, attention to detail and a natural sense of style are essential. Most importantly, you will understand how to make customers feel comfortable, listened to and excited about their purchase.
