CROSS Specialist Cleaning & Restoration – East Sussex
Flexible hours | Training provided | Specialist career development
About Us
CROSS Specialist Cleaning & Restoration is a trusted, professional cleaning and restoration company serving East Sussex. We work on larger interior and exterior projects using high‑grade, machine‑driven equipment — not domestic cleaning. Our reputation is built on high standards, technical expertise and genuine care for our clients and the people who work with us.
The Role
We are looking for a motivated Assistant Technician who wants to learn a specialist trade and progress into a fully trained Cleaning & Restoration Technician. You’ll support larger cleaning and restoration projects and receive hands-on training in specialist techniques, equipment and processes.
This is a flexible role, with hours determined by the specialist jobs we have booked. It suits someone who enjoys variety, is building experience, or is developing a trade. Ideal for those starting out, changing direction, or filling gaps in employment while gaining valuable skills.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
