The Role and Responsibilities
EnerMech are looking for an Assistant Technician to join our Equipment Rental department in Aberdeen. This is a permanent role offering 37.5 hours a week and has opportunity for overtime. This role will support the off-hire team with the timely load-out of equipment and processing of off-hires for both EnerMech hire fleet and third-party equipment. The role will also ensure rental equipment is returned to holding areas, and that housekeeping standards are maintained.

Other main duties will include but not be limited to the following:
- Ensure all demobilisations are actioned in a fast and efficient manner, completing all relevant documentation
- Ensure the mobilisation area is kept clean and organized
- Working safely as part of the Mob-Demob team
- Responsible for processing of equipment returned off hire, including updating of in-house computer recording systems
- Responsible for saving all off hire manifests & returns notes in the specified location
- Responsible for documenting & recording customer consumables
- Responsible for documenting & recording equipment discrepancies and highlighting these to the relevant person

The Requirements
You will have previous experience with equipment mobilisations/demobilisations. You will have good written communication and an ability to record numbers accurately. Basic IT skills would also be beneficial. A forklift License (Min: 3-ton counter balance) would be preferred but not essential. Equipment / Product Knowledge of air/electric hand tools, lighting, welding, pipework, rigging equipment & accessories would be advantageous.
