Assistant Theatre Supplies and Logistics Manager
An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Theatre Supplies and Logistics Manager based within the Theatre Department. The post holder will be employed by Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
This role requires cross-site working across both the Northern General and Royal Hallamshire Hospitals.
Responsibilities
The post holder will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of an efficient, cost-effective, timely and courteous Materials Management and Logistics service across the Trust. The role supports the effective running of theatre services by ensuring the availability of required stock, equipment and supplies.
The post holder will undertake a wide range of duties requiring initiative, sound judgement and the ability to work independently within established procedures.
- Support the Theatre Supplies and Logistics Manager in the day-to-day operational management of materials management and logistics services.
