This Assistant Training Manager / Lead Trainer role will play a crucial role in elevating service quality across the London chauffeur fleet. As we continue to grow in one of Europe’s most recognisable markets, this position is essential to ensuring every chauffeur consistently delivers **Wheely’s service standards. Focusing on delivering engaging training to chauffeurs while managing and adapting learning content for the London market, this role will also:

  • Assess chauffeurs' performance and provide clear, constructive feedback
  • Lead effective 1:1 coaching sessions
  • Serve as the local expert supporting chauffeurs, answering questions, and ensuring they have the knowledge to deliver exceptional service.

What you will be doing

  • Deliver training for Wheely chauffeurs to provide a five-star luxury customer experience, requiring engaging and credible facilitation to embed knowledge and hone skills.
  • Maintain and create country-specific learning initiatives while updating and refining training content.
  • Act as the voice of the chauffeur—serve as the subject-matter expert, communicate with chauffeurs, and address their questions and queries.
  • Assess chauffeur performance against Wheely’s service standards, followed by effective feedback and 1:1 training to improve performance.
  • Collaborate with peers in other regions to continually refine processes and ensure passenger expectations are exceeded.

Requirements

  • Three+ years of experience in a specialised training role.
  • A proven record of delivering engaging training and development programmes that meet customer service standards.
  • In-depth knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint/Google Slides.
    • Desired: Familiarity with Articulate 360 suite.
  • Two+ years of experience in a customer-facing environment, ideally in the luxury sector.
  • Strong vocal ability to maintain high standards with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Enthusiasm for developing others and bringing out their best.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A passion for luxury vehicles and understanding their specifications is a plus point.
