Job Title: Assistant Web Content Editor

Salary: c. £25,134 (Dependant on Skills and Experience)

Location: Stoneleigh, Warwickshire with agile working

Working Hours: 35 hours per week

Contract Type: Permanent

The National Farmers’ Union (NFU) is the biggest farming organisation in the UK. Purpose of the role & how you will contribute:

As Assistant Web Content Editor, you’ll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the web team, helping to deliver high-quality digital content across our websites and app. You’ll proofread, edit and publish engaging written content, create short-form video, and ensure everything meets our editorial standards and style guide. Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, you’ll help keep content timely, accurate and optimised, making sure our members’ needs are clearly and effectively communicated.

What you’ll bring:

You’ll be educated to degree level (or equivalent) in a relevant subject and have a genuine interest in digital media, news and online trends. You’ll also have a keen interest in food, farming or the NFU. With excellent writing, proofreading and communication skills, you’ll be confident working with CMS platforms, social media and Microsoft Office. Organised and detail-focused, you’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage competing priorities well, and bring a positive, can-do attitude to working collaboratively with colleagues.
