Associate Recruitment Consultant At VWA – Boutique Recruitment Consultancy Permanent West End Up to 35K depending on experience 7-VWAAC/NCWFA

VWA is hiring! We are looking for an ambitious, hardworking, highly communicative and team-playing individual to join our team as Associate Consultant in our Temporary and Contract Division. This role comes with a pathway towards eventual Consultant status and management of your own client-base, this is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills in a commercial and people-focused environment.

About Us: VWA is a boutique recruitment consultancy and has been established for 36 years – there is a true family feel in our culture and approach. We largely focus on the London market, although have a reach extending outside of the UK, supporting with a range of hiring needs, including: Business support and administrative roles Operations Marketing HR Finance, investments and accountancy Private PAs

About the Associate Consultant Roles: As an Associate Consultant based on the Temporary and Contract team, your role will cover different areas to develop your knowledge of all VWA’s recruitment processes. This will include: Sourcing candidates through responding to applications and active searching on recruitment job boards. Conducting telephone screening calls with potential candidates. Helping to run targeted searches and headhunt top talent Conducting competency-based interviews with candidates invited to register. Candidate relationship management throughout registration process. Shortlisting candidates for clients’ briefs, collating interview feedback from candidates. Market research and analysis as required. Business development activities to grow own client base and nurture existing client relationships. Supporting weekly agency worker payroll administration. Administrative support including sending our compliance documents, Microsoft Office assessments and formatting CVs. Other tasks as required.

About You: Prior experience from a high-end sales role is ideal, but recruitment experience is not required. Strong Microsoft Office skills, and experience using IT programmes or databases. Strong attention to detail. Commercial attitude. An efficient approach to work and with a warm and approachable manner. Natural rapport-builder, and have a team-working and commercial mindset.

Additional Details: Core hours are 9am – 5.30pm, with flexibility to work beyond these hours if required. The company operates a hybrid working structure (3 days office-based) however the successful candidate will be fully office-based while onboarding into the role. Competitive base salary up to 35K depending on relevant experience (in business development, account management or sales), participation in commission scheme after probation and annual discretionary bonus.
