about the role: associate ai platforms engineer

summary

As an Associate AI Platforms Engineer, you'll help deliver the rollout and day-to-day administration of our enterprise AI platforms, such as Microsoft 365 Copilot. You'll support pilots, help users get the most out of the tools, run training sessions, and keep things ticking over behind the scenes.

This is a hands-on early-career role for someone curious about AI, comfortable with Microsoft 365, and excited to learn how big organisations adopt new technology safely. There's a clear path to grow into a more senior platforms role as the function expands.

responsibilities of the role

  • Support the rollout of AI platforms (such as Microsoft 365 Copilot) across the business, including pilot waves, user onboarding, and post-deployment support.
  • Carry out day-to-day administration tasks for AI platforms:
    • Licensing
    • Basic configuration
    • User provisioning
    • Routine troubleshooting
  • Help prepare and deliver training materials, “lunch and learn” sessions, and office hours that help colleagues use systems in their day-to-day work.
  • Maintain documentation, FAQs, and internal knowledge content for the AI platforms we run.
  • Help collect and present adoption and usage data so the team can see what's working.
  • Triage user questions and platform issues, escalating to senior team members or specialised teams (Identity, Security, Information Protection) when needed.
  • Work with the Information Protection team on practical tasks that improve content readiness for platforms (e.g., helping with sensitivity labels and access hygiene).
  • Get exposure to our Snowflake-based advanced AI platform (Cortex Code, Cortex Agents) and support early users where helpful.
  • Keep up with the platform roadmaps and bring useful new features to the team's attention.
  • Build small Low-Code solutions where they help solve practical problems.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
