Account Manager (Air Partnerships Team EMEA)
Travel Partnerships and Advertising, Expedia Group
About the Role
At Expedia Group, we empower travelers to explore the world with confidence, ease, and joy. Our Five Behaviors—Traveler First, Think Big, Operate with Excellence, Ownership Mindset, Succeed Together—shape an environment where collaboration and impact thrive.
The Air Partnerships Team in the EMEA Region partners with airlines, hotels, DMOs, and other partners to deliver exceptional traveler and business-to-business (B2B) experiences. We’re growing our marketplace for both Expedia Group’s valued partners and millions of travelers worldwide through supply diversification and investment in our advertising and media units.
We’re looking for a driven, strategic, and relationship-driven Account Manager to grow our airline partnerships in EMEA. In this role, you’ll develop localized strategies for airline accounts, collaborate cross-functionally to refine content and competitive positioning, and expand revenue opportunities for both partners and our business.
Key Responsibilities
Partner Engagement & Growth
- Develop and execute localized business strategies for air supply in EMEA, aligning with senior Air Account Managers to optimize relationships and position Expedia Group as the preferred airline partner.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key airline decision-makers in the region through regional and one-on-one meetings.
- Source, secure, and operationalize competitive content with leaders to counterbalance competitors and analyze market gaps.
- Interpret performance data on Expédia Group’s products, services, and solutions to ensure airline partners perceive added value from our partnerships.
Account Management & Relationship Development
- Create and nurture growth opportunities for airline accounts (e.g., progress/strategic meetings) by recommending data-backed solutions that meet partners’ needs.
- Collaborate with regional account counterparts to implement scalable, high-impact business processes for maximizing account performance.
- Identify and present value propositions (supported by data, case studies, or prototypes) to sustain airline partnerships.
- Represent Expedia Group at industry events, including domestic and international travel, to network with key stakeholders.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
