About The Role:
The Crowd are partnering with a highly respected mid-sized London-based architecture practice to recruit an Associate Architect for their talented and close-knit team. Renowned for delivering thoughtful, technically accomplished architecture, the studio has built a strong reputation across the commercial sector and continues to secure an impressive portfolio of large-scale UK projects.
Based in a highly desirable central London location, this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Architect looking to take the next step in their career within a collaborative and design-focused environment.
In this role, you will work closely with the Project Directors and senior leadership team, playing a key role in the delivery and coordination of complex commercial projects from concept through to completion. Alongside leading project teams, you will mentor and manage junior staff, helping to drive design quality, technical excellence, and successful project outcomes across the studio.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, proven experience delivering large-scale commercial projects, excellent coordination skills, and advanced Revit proficiency. You will be a confident leader, capable of managing both people and projects whilst fostering strong relationships with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of projects during the later RIBA stages, helping to ensure efficient progress and successful outcomes
- Be responsible for overseeing delivery stages, managing programmes, outputs, and technical coordination across stages
- Work closely with senior leadership to review and develop designs, ensuring proposals meet both creative and project objectives
- Lead and coordinate communication with consultants and internal team members, promoting effective collaboration throughout
- Provide day-to-day direction to a small team, maintaining high levels of quality, productivity, and consistency
- Mentor junior staff, offering guidance and support to aid their technical development and career progression

Key Skills/Requirements:
- Qualified Architect registered with the ARB
- 5+ years’ experience following professional registration
- Demonstrated ability to take projects from concept through to completion, including successful delivery at Stage 5
- Strong background in leading schemes across multiple RIBA stages
- Experience working on large-scale UK developments, including commercial, residential, or mixed-use projects
- A design-focused portfolio showcasing UK-based work
- Advanced proficiency in Revit is required
- Technically strong, particularly in the later stages of project delivery
- Thorough understanding of UK building regulations and compliance requirements
- Confident leadership and team management skills
- Clear and effective communication abilities
