The Role
Due to rapid expansion, Marrons is seeking an Associate or Associate Director to lead projects, grow the team, and support regional business strategy.
Core Responsibilities:
- Lead transport planning projects, collaborating with internal teams or clients
- Review Transport Assessments, Travel Plans, and Feasibility Studies
- Provide high-level strategic advice to clients at all project stages
- Attend client meetings and public consultations
- Contribute to business development initiatives
- Mentor junior team members
Opportunities
- Growth & influence – Shape the firm’s regional planning strategy
- Multi-sector projects – Residential, commercial, energy, leisure, and Sustainability & Utilities Engagement (SUE) sites
- Potential involvement in planning appeals if desired
- Leader in a scaling team – Manage workload alongside mentorship

Key Duties
- Transport Planning Leadership
- Preparation & Review of Assessments (Transport, Travel Plans, Feasibility)
- Client Consultation & Stakeholder Engagement
- Business Development Collaboration
- Team Mentorship & Growth Support
Essential Requirements
- Proven expertise in transport planning
- Strong technical/design and report-writing skills
- Relevant degree in Transport Planning, Geography, or Civil Engineering
- Experience with AutoCAD, TRIKS, Junctions, and LINSIG (desirable)
Desirable Qualities
- Experience in planning appeals
- Knowledge of urban design & masterplanning principles
