The Purpose:
As we accelerate toward our goal of 3x growth by 2028, we are seeking an Associate Brand Marketing Director that will 10x our brand. This role is a strategic cornerstone within the marketing team, specifically tasked with making the PPRO brand synonymous with local payments globally while spearheading our brand awareness and consideration for the high-growth LATAM region. You will lead the creation of a powerful ‘pull’ strategy designed to engage key audiences and establish PPRO as the trusted authority for global PSPs and merchants. \n
What you’ll be doing: Global brand narrative, thought leadership & influence: Lead the evolution of the PPRO brand from its EMEA heritage to a globally recognised leader in local payments. You will define and execute a brand strategy that brings our mission, vision, and values to life while strengthening our visibility and influence across the global payments ecosystem. Through compelling storytelling, industry-leading insights, and flagship thought leadership initiatives such as our Almanac series, you will ensure PPRO’s expertise in local payments is widely recognised, trusted, and differentiated in the market. LATAM market development: Own the strategic narrative for our LATAM growth initiative, driving category leadership, brand awareness, and consideration across key trade corridors through high-impact, creative marketing programmes and activations. Strategic positioning: Strengthen and refine PPRO’s market positioning by clearly articulating our unique value proposition. Partner closely with Product Marketing to develop and execute differentiated narratives that set us apart from competitors and resonate with target audiences. Team leadership & development: Lead and develop a high-performing team, providing strategic direction and oversight across content production and comms Partner marketing and enablement: Drive brand visibility and market momentum through strategic partner collaboration. You will create and support co-marketing opportunities, including joint campaigns, launches, and communications programmes that amplify our collective reach and impact. Connecting brand equity to performance and volume growth: Ensure brand-building initiatives contribute directly to commercial outcomes. By increasing awareness, consideration, and brand preference at the top of the funnel, you will support more efficient customer acquisition, strengthen conversion performance, and drive sustainable volume growth.

What makes you a great fit: Executive storytelling: Proven experience shaping compelling brand narratives at a senior level within fintech, payments, or B2B SaaS. You know how to translate business strategy into powerful stories that build brand equity, influence perception, and drive commercial outcomes. Creative leadership: A track record of developing bold, differentiated campaigns that increase awareness, consideration, and market influence beyond traditional performance marketing channels. Strategic partnership: Experience partnering with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to align brand strategy, thought leadership, and communications with long-term business objectives. Agency management: Demonstrated ability to select, manage, and inspire creative, PR, media, and content agencies to deliver high-impact campaigns and consistently elevate brand presence.
Nice to have: LATAM payments expertise: Deep understanding of the LATAM payments ecosystem, including market dynamics, customer needs, and the competitive landscape across key regional markets. Technical storytelling: Exceptional ability to translate complex payments infrastructure, product capabilities, and technical differentiators into compelling customer-centric value propositions and market narratives.
