About the Role
Accountabilities & Key Responsibilities
- Work within the perioperative environment, spanning pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care within the theatres.
- Provide essential support during surgical procedures, ensuring adherence to strict safety, aseptic practices, and infection control protocols.
- Assist with patient preparation, including positioning, draping, and anchoring techniques, while maintaining a sterile field.
- Operate medical instruments, disposables, equipment, and technology used in theatre procedures, with a focus on efficiency and safety.
- Collaborate closely with the ** Anaesthetic Team**, Surgeons, and Theatre Powerbase to ensure smooth surgical workflows.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient and procedure documentation, including surgical documentation and patient records.

About You
- Actively encouraged to continue professional development, including further education alongside work commitments.
- Demonstrated interest in caring for others and ensuring high-quality patient experiences.
- Committed to maintaining adoherence to high standards of personal hygiene at all times.
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends, early starts, and shift rotations when required.
- Strong hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.
- Prepared to work within a high-pressure clinical environment and thrive an CQC-rated hospital setting.
