Most change managers spend half their careers trying to convince people that change matters.

This isn't one of those roles.

In fact, that's one of the reasons I keep coming back to this client.

I’m back working with one of my favourite clients in the change space...a business I’ve partnered with for over 4 years and one that genuinely walks the walk when it comes to change management, learning, and adoption.

This business has built a genuinely brilliant change practice with strong leadership, proper investment, and a culture that understands successful transformation is about people first and technology second.

They're now looking for an Associate Change Manager to join the team. Ideally, you'll have a couple of years' experience supporting change on technology-enabled transformation programmes and be looking for an environment where you can continue to develop your skills alongside some genuinely impressive change professionals.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

ERP and AI adoption experience would be great but isn't essential. What's more important is that you've seen change delivered in practice, understand the fundamentals, and are keen to build a career in the profession.

The role will see you supporting senior members of the change team across a variety of digital transformation programmes, helping with stakeholder engagement, impact assessments, adoption activities, and all the things that help change actually land.

They're looking to pay somewhere between £45,000–£55,000 plus bonus and benefits.

There’s loads of flexibility around remote working and the role is open to people across the UK.

Travel will occasionally be needed for client work, but this is a business that genuinely understands work-life balance. You won’t find yourself travelling 4 hours to sit on Teams calls from a client office while everyone else works from home.

Whether you're already working in change and looking for a better environment to develop your career, or you've had a taste of transformation and know it's where you want to specialise, this could be right up your street.
