Backed by Europe’s largest-ever logistics Series A ($35M), led by deep-tech investors Plural (whose portfolio spans fusion energy and space exploration), Relay is scaling faster than 99.98% of venture-backed startups. We're assembling the most talent-dense team the logistics industry has ever seen Relay’s Mission is to free commerce from friction. Today, high delivery costs act as a hidden tax on e-commerce, quietly shaping what can be sold online and limiting who can participate. We envision a world where more goods move more freely between more people, making the online shopping experience seamless and accessible to everyone. THE TEAM • ~110 people, more than half in engineering, product and data • 45+ advanced degrees across computer science, mathematics and operations research • Thousands of data points captured, calculated, analysed and predicted for every single parcel we handle • An intellectually vibrant culture of first‑principles thinking, tight feedback loops and relentless experimentation The Opportunity As an Associate Chief of Staff at Relay, you'll: Own and continuously improve the CEO’s operating rhythm, from leadership meetings to all-hands and company communications, ensuring focus stays on the highest-impact priorities. Serve as a first line of response on emerging opportunities or challenges requiring CEO attention, shaping recommendations before escalation. Deliver structured analysis and research that directly inform CEO and leadership decisions. Drive alignment and accountability on company OKRs and key priorities, ensuring progress is visible, measured, and acted upon. Turn company-level strategies into clear roadmaps, milestones, and ownership, then drive follow-through to ensure results are delivered Scope and coordinate high-priority cross-functional projects, acting as the connective tissue that keeps teams aligned and outcomes delivered. Contribute to org design and workforce planning, from role mapping to team reshaping, ensuring Relay scales with clarity and efficiency. Help design and scale people processes such as performance reviews, goal-setting, and feedback systems that support a high-performance, feedback-driven culture. I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
