Associate Citadel Miniatures Designer

Miniatures Designer, Games Workshop

About The Role

Games Workshop has exciting opportunities as we’re looking for designers to join our Design Studio, who can realise ideas using a range of digital design software.

Passionate about the Warhammer IP and with the drive to find ways to create and improve miniatures, you’ll work collaboratively with a world-class team responsible for the entire process—from design through to pre-production engineering.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Creating exciting new plastic models using leading-edge digital design technology.
  • Ensuring designs are complementary and consistent with Warhammer intellectual property.

Responsibilities

Core Duties

  • Deliver high-quality designs that meet detailed briefs and adhere to strict deadlines.
  • Transform approved concepts into precision-engineered models, ready for commercial plastic production.
  • Split and draft models to fit agreed-upon frame formats, ensuring manufacturability while maintaining customer assembly-friendliness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine and enhance miniature designs that captivate Warhammer’s fanbase.
  • Infuse creativity while maintaining technical and quality standards across the design pipeline.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
