About The Role
Games Workshop has exciting opportunities as we’re looking for designers to join our Design Studio, who can realise ideas using a range of digital design software.
Passionate about the Warhammer IP and with the drive to find ways to create and improve miniatures, you’ll work collaboratively with a world-class team responsible for the entire process—from design through to pre-production engineering.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Creating exciting new plastic models using leading-edge digital design technology.
- Ensuring designs are complementary and consistent with Warhammer intellectual property.
Responsibilities
Core Duties
- Deliver high-quality designs that meet detailed briefs and adhere to strict deadlines.
- Transform approved concepts into precision-engineered models, ready for commercial plastic production.
- Split and draft models to fit agreed-upon frame formats, ensuring manufacturability while maintaining customer assembly-friendliness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine and enhance miniature designs that captivate Warhammer’s fanbase.
- Infuse creativity while maintaining technical and quality standards across the design pipeline.

Requirements
Skills & Experience
- Proven passion for Warhammer and hobby miniatures design.
- Mastery of digital design tools (e.g., CAD, Blender, or equivalent) essential for miniature conceptualisation and production.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to balance artisticvision with technical feasibility.
- Experience translating 2D sketches into 3D models, or transitioning from physical clay/modelling into digital precision work.
- Experience with sculpting, moulding, or miniatures production workflows is advantageous.

- self-motivated, eager to meet deadlines while pushing creative boundaries.
- Ability to communicate ideas persuasively to diverse teams.

Location: Warhammer World HQ, Nottingham (on-site tram stop + free parking).

Holidays: 33 days per year (including bank holidays).
