Client Success Onboarding Specialist (EMEA) – RBC
What is the opportunity?
Join RBC’s global Client Success Team (CST) as a dedicated onboarding specialist for the EMEA region. In this permanent, full-time role, you’ll orchestrate seamless client onboarding across multiple products and jurisdictions, collaborating with internal stakeholders to deliver exceptional experiences while ensuring compliance and operational excellence.
Location: 4 days in-office at 100 Bishopsgate, London, UK Employment Type: Full-time (35 hours/week)
What will you do?
- Chair a global Client Success Team responsible for the onboarding of clients, primarily handling requests from EMEA across all RBC locations.
- Manage cross-functional client lifecycle projects with regional teams (KYC, AML, Legal, Operations, IT, Credit, Docs, and Risk) to ensure smooth onboarding experiences for clients and sales teams.
- Serve as a primary point of contact, facilitating reporting of onboarding progress to stakeholders while maintaining transparency and improving service delivery.
- Proactively address escalations as required.
- Identify and escalate operational risks, compliance deficiencies, and potential loss events to relevant business units.
- Maintain and update desktop procedures, ensuring compatibility with process changes via annual reviews and compliance with the Global Client Onboarding Procedures.
- Support compliance with Firm Policies, including KYC, AML, and broader client onboarding guidelines.
- Additional duties, as directed by management, may include:
- Participation in strategic or regulatory initiatives
- Contributing to policy/procedures documentation and reporting/metrics
- Innovate processes – Proactively identify opportunities to streamline, automate, or enhance operational workflows.
- Handle memderivative products with expertise.
- Strong communication skills essential for client relationship management—ensuring clarity, responsiveness, and alignment.

What do you need to succeed?
Must-Have
- Robust onboarding experience (or equivalent in related operations roles).
- Deep understanding of Capital Markets, including:
- FX, Cash and Equity Derivatives
- Fixed Income
- Futures
- Commodities
- Rates Derivatives
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, with advanced Excel skills (macros, lookups, data analysis).
- Solid PowerPoint skills.
- Experience working on change projects and a mindset open to process improvement.
Nice-to-Have
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education.
- Proactive, team-oriented personality with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to adapt priorities amid the fast-paced trading environment.
- Accountability-driven mindset dedicated to client experience and end-to-end onboarding.
- Experience navigating complex infrastructures with cross-functional teams.
- Adaptability in a high-stress trading environment, requiring quick decision-making, problem-solving, and constant communication.
- Meticulous attention to detail and creative thinking to manage "outside the box" scenarios under pressure.
