Associate, Client Success Team - Capital Markets (London)
What Is the Opportunity?
Join RBC’s global Client Success Team (CST) as a dedicated onboarding specialist for the EMEA region. In this role, you’ll orchestrate seamless client onboarding across multiple products and jurisdictions, collaborating with internal stakeholders to deliver exceptional experiences while ensuring compliance and operational excellence.

This is a permanent, full-time role and requires 4 days in the office at our 100 Bishopsgate, London office.
What Will You Do?
- Member of a global Client Success Team, responsible for the onboarding of clients, primarily focusing on onboarding requests from EMEA into all RBC locations.
- Manage client lifecycle projects across regional functional teams (KYC, AML, Legal, Operations, IT, Credit, Docs, Risk) to ensure a smooth and efficient experience for the client and Sales.
- Facilitation and reporting of onboarding progress to business stakeholders, providing transparency and enhancing client service.
- Escalate as required.

- Proactively identify operational risk/control deficiencies and report them to the business.
- Keep desktop procedures up to date and refreshed as process changes are made—reviewed on a minimum annual basis.
- Ensure compliance with Firm Policies, including:
- Global client onboarding procedures
- KYC/AML (Know Your Customer Anti-Money Laundering)
- Ensure compliance with Firm Policies, including:
- Additional business support as directed by your manager (e.g., strategic or regulatory initiatives, projects, documentation of policy/procedures, and reporting/metrics).
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance, streamline, and automate processes.
- Requires strong knowledge of derivative products.
- Strong client communication skills are essential for this client relationship management role.

What Do You Need to Succeed?
Must-Have
- Robust onboarding experience preferred, or experience in a related operations role.
- Understanding of Capital Markets:
- FX (Foreign Exchange)
- Cash and Equity Derivatives
- Fixed Income
- Futures
- Commodities
- Rates Derivatives
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with:
- Advanced Excel skills (macros, look-ups)
- PowerPoint skills
- Some experience working on change projects and an open change mindset.
Nice-to-Have
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Proactive, team player, self-motivated, with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to prioritize and re-prioritize tasks to meet fast-paced demands of trading environments.
- Strong sense of accountability and ownership over client experience.
- Ability to navigate and successfully manage complex infrastructures involving numerous groups and individuals.
- Experience thriving in high-stress trading floor environments that require:
- Quick turnaround, decision-making, and constant communication.
- Ability to "think outside the box" in high-intensity settings, with meticulous attention to detail.
