Role description: As an Associate Cost Consultant, you will help lead the Cost and Commercial Management service across Development Led Infrastructure projects, supporting project teams and ensuring work aligns with business goals. You will manage financial performance, motivate teams, and build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and deliver value. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor, providing technical expertise and strategic input to deliver successful outcomes on major infrastructure projects. You will continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and systems, driving innovation and enhancing project delivery. Role accountabilities: Lead, motivate, and manage a team of technical specialists to provide efficient cost and commercial management services. Manage the financial performance of projects, ensuring costs, schedules, and efficiency meet profit and budgetary targets. Support project management teams in delivering commercial aspects of projects within budget and contractual specifications. Monitor team performance, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and codes of conduct. Assure compliance with contracts regarding project delivery parameters and scope. Analyze complex information and oversee recommendations to improve cost management services. Continuously develop processes and lead improvements in cost and commercial management systems. Build strong relationships with senior clients and stakeholders to identify opportunities and create new business opportunities. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Relevant professional qualification or chartered status. CSCS card holder. Minimum 10 years’ experience delivering large and complex infrastructure projects. Proven ability to manage, motivate, and lead multidisciplinary teams. On‑site project delivery experience is essential, particularly across major infrastructure schemes. Strong experience building senior‑level client relationships and acting as a trusted advisor. Demonstrable track record of providing high‑quality commercial advice on infrastructure projects, including large residential and mixed‑use developments. Why Arcadis?
