Everyone who works at Lidl brings something unique to the table - but we also have a whole lot in common. We’re curious, collaborative, and ready to make a tangible impact on where we work.

Just like you.

We are looking for a high-energy, detail-oriented Associate Consultant to join our dynamic Brand Engagement team. Reporting directly to the Communications & Events Team Manager, you will be the driving force behind our busy consumer press office, buzzing events, and major product launches. If you love variety, thrive under pressure, and want to work across integrated consumer projects that get the nation talking, this is the role for you.

At Lidl, we offer a hybrid working model to give you the best of both worlds. Spend three days or more in our state-of-the-art office, where you can enjoy an on-site gym, restaurant, and more of the perks you deserve. And with up to two days at home, you’ll find the work/life balance you need to thrive.

What you'll do

  • Working with the team to devise and implement Lidl GB’s consumer communications strategy
  • Day-to-day management of Lidl’s busy consumer press office, responding to issues and enquiries on a range of subject matters
  • Building and coordinating national, regional and trade business announcements regarding Lidl product launches and campaigns
  • Management of event logistics and coordination including domestic and international press trips, wine tastings and Christmas events
  • Assisting in the management of the consumer comms agency and working with our Marketing department and agencies to project-manage engaging and impactful communications for our customers through our owned and above the line channels
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams, including Marketing, CSR, Supply Chain, Legal, and Buying, to ensure operational efficiency and integrated campaign delivery
  • Developing communications materials including briefing documents, press releases, presentations and background research
  • Staying on top of wider news agenda - informing communications team of relevant stories
  • Compiling and coordinating reports on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis
  • Supporting with management of budget and invoice processing
  • Deputising for Communications & Events Team Manager in their absence and providing day-to-day support for the Press Office Assistant

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
