Specialist, Corporate Actions Representative – Custody Services Team (Manchester)

We are now seeking a Specialist, Corporate Actions Representative to join our Custody Services team in Manchester.
Key Responsibilities
- Data capture: Gather and process data from diverse financial service providers
- Client communication: Engage with clients via email and phone as necessary
- Time-sensitive processing: Work under tight deadlines influenced by global market movements
- Accurate transaction handling: Ensuring precise processing of financial transactions
- System proficiency: Utilise multiple bespoke systems to input and extract critical data

Requirements
Must have/experience with:
- Advanced Excel skills (including formulas, pivot tables, data validation)
- Precision and problem-solving: Ability to demonstrate error detection/correction in past processes
- Deadline management: Experience working under short deadlines and coherence pressures
- Numeracy: Strong mathematical and analytical aptitude
Desirable:
- Non-Microsoft software experience, particularly bespoke industry systems
- Data reconciliation: Expertise in verifying and balancing financial datasets
- Workflow management: Experience documenting tasks in diaries/notes systems
- Greenfield Finance: Experience in corporate actions, custody services, or financial services
- AI awareness: Interest or experience in applying AI tools/innovation to workloads
- Customer data handling: Confident use of client-facing systems with data integrity
