Associate, Corporate Strategy, Major Bank

We are now working with a major bank that is looking to recruit an Associate into their corporate strategy team.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake in-depth analysis to support the development and track the execution of the group’s strategy
  • Provide support to the senior strategy function and senior management on strategic reviews to:
    • Improve the quality of strategic planning
    • Enhance management information
    • Strengthen accountability and governance
  • Ensure timely consideration of market, industry, and competitor analysis for planning and performance management activities
  • Maintain the team’s compliance with:
    • Mandatory initiatives
    • Necessary requirements
    • Business-critical initiatives

  • Experience in financial services
  • Strategy experience, either in consultancy or corporate
  • Strong:
    • Communication skills
    • Problem-solving skills
    • Analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate in:
    • A small team
    • In a flat structure environment
  • Modelling capabilities
  • Typically 4–6 years of experience with at least some financial services experience
