Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Tax associate with deep technical knowledge of U.S. and U.K. corporate tax to support our global tax function. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in tax compliance, tax accounting, cross-border structuring, and advisory support for multinational corporate operations. This role will work closely with regional finance teams, corporate leadership, and external advisors to ensure our group’s tax obligations are met accurately and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Corporate Tax Compliance & Reporting Manage and review U.S. federal and state corporate income tax returns (Forms 1120, 1120-F, 1065 etc.). Oversee U.K. corporation tax computations and filings, including CT600 and SA800 submissions. Ensure timely filing of estimated tax payments, extensions, and annual returns for relevant jurisdictions. Coordinate provision and tax accounting processes, including deferred tax calculations under U.S. GAAP / IFRS. Manage quarterly VAT reporting processes. Maintain and improve internal controls over the tax reporting process (SOX, internal audit requirements). Global Tax Planning & Advisory Analyze the tax impact of cross‑border transactions, reorganizations, acquisitions, and intercompany financing. Support transfer pricing initiatives, documentation, and implementation of arm’s‑length policies. Provide guidance on withholding taxes, permanent establishment assessments, and cross-jurisdictional issues. Advise on U.S. international tax regimes (GILTI, FDII, BEAT, Subpart F) and U.K. international tax measures. Tax Risk Management & Governance Monitor legislative changes in the U.S. and U.K., assessing potential impacts to the business. Ensure compliance with OECD guidelines for transfer pricing purposes. Manage tax audits and inquiries with relevant tax authorities. Collaboration & Business Support Partner with finance, legal, treasury, and business units to support operational and strategic initiatives and process improvements. Coordinate with external tax advisors to manage compliance obligations and technical analysis. Provide training and guidance to internal stakeholders on tax matters. Qualifications & Experience Required · Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field. 7+ years of tax experience, including significant exposure to U.S. and U.K. corporate tax. Strong understanding of U.S. corporate tax rules (IRC), international provisions, and U.K. corporate tax framework (HMRC guidance). Experience working in a multinational company, Big Four firm, or leading tax advisory practice. Proficiency in tax compliance software and financial systems, including Oracle. Preferred CPA, CTA, or equivalent professional certification. Experience with cross‑border reorganizations, M&A due diligence, and global structuring. Knowledge of IFRS and/or U.S. GAAP tax accounting (ASC 740). Familiarity with OECD BEPS and transfer pricing methodologies. Skills & Competencies Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax issues to non‑tax stakeholders. High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
