Job Summary

The Associate, Credit Administration Loan Operations supports the management of a portfolio of commercial real estate (CRE) loans, ensuring accurate setup, ongoing maintenance, and timely production of rate fixes, drawdown, and interest notices. Reporting to the Director, Credit Administration – EMEA, this role also assists in processing transaction waterfalls and payments, coordinating with internal and external parties on complex loan events. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, able to meet tight deadlines, and has at least one year of loan servicing or related experience with solid Excel skills.

Responsibilities

  • Managing a case load of CRE loans.
  • Setting up newly completed transactions in accordance with Trimont’s internal procedures, ensuring all information is kept up to date and accurate on an ongoing basis, ensuring the timely production of rate fixes, draw down and interest notices, reflecting scheduled and ad-hoc events during the life of each loan.
  • A key function of the Loan Operations team is the management and processing of individual deal transaction waterfalls and IPD payments, as well as ad-hoc payment requests. Such payments being prepared and managed by the Loan Operations team, ensuring all four-eyed checks and internal controls are adhered to.
  • Completing all tasks to a high degree of accuracy, ensuring strict deadlines are adhered to at all times.
  • Coordinating with lenders, borrowers, external third parties (including but not limited to lawyers and hedge counterparties), Trimont internal parties in respect to loan redemptions, restructuring, amendments, waivers and other ad-hoc requests.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year’s loan servicing experience in finance, real estate or a related field.
  • Solid analytical skills with interim to advanced level ability of Excel.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills and must work well within a team.
  • Have the personality and resilience to thrive in a fast-moving and pressurised environment and be driven/determined to see tasks through to completion.
  • The ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
