About Our Damages & Valuations Team

As part of our expanding Damages & Valuations team, you will join a select group of the world's foremost experts and advisors. The facts prove it. Successful candidates will join an expanding international valuation and damages quantification practice. The cases our team works on provide exposure to unique, complex, interesting issues, integrating valuation, finance, accounting, economic, and legal principles across a wide range of industries and geographies.

Responsibilities

  • Assume ownership of tasks while collaborating with a close-knit team.
  • Conduct primary and secondary research on markets, industries and companies.
  • Develop and summarise quantitative financial analyses and financial models.
  • Assist with the preparation of damages and valuation reports.
  • Apply critical thinking skills and develop deep knowledge of project-specific topics.
  • Review your own work, and the work of others, to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Prepare for hearings, trials, and mediations in support of testifying experts.
  • Communicate with clients and lawyers.

Requirements

  • Strong research, problem solving, and analytical skills.
  • Able to assimilate relevant information quickly in unfamiliar situations.
  • Very strong attention to detail.
  • Able to develop creative approaches and solutions necessary to resolve complex problems.
  • Able to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Proactive working style.
  • Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Ability to travel, as needed.
  • Foreign language skills are an advantage.

Academic requirements:

  • First- or upper second-class honours degree from any academic discipline.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word is an advantage.
