Associate Data Strategy Director – 3-Month Contract

📍 London (Hybrid)
💰 Around £400 per day
📄 Inside IR35
🕒 Full-time or flexible part-time considered

We’re looking for an Associate Data Strategy Director / Senior Data Strategist to join a leading marketing agency on an initial three-month contract.

Working across a small portfolio of clients, you’ll help shape CRM and customer data strategies that improve engagement, campaign performance, and customer experiences.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys combining strategic thinking with practical delivery. You’ll work closely with Data Planners, Analysts, client teams, and senior stakeholders to turn customer data and analytics into clear, actionable recommendations.

The Opportunity

You’ll support the development and delivery of data strategy across several client accounts, helping teams make better use of customer data within CRM and marketing programmes. You’ll contribute to areas including segmentation, customer journey planning, campaign measurement, and test-and-learn activity. Depending on your experience, there may also be opportunities to mentor junior team members and take the lead on selected projects.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
