Associate Dentist - NHS
Job Description Join City Quay Dental Clinic, a busy NHS practice in Dundee with an established patient base and high demand. The Role Start: May 2026 (flexible) Days: Monday–Saturday NHS patient list with excellent earning potential Clinical freedom in a supportive team environment Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality NHS dental care for patients of all ages Maintain accurate clinical records and clearly explain treatment options Collaborate with hygienists, therapists, and the wider team Follow clinical governance and infection control standards Confidently perform radiography and diagnostics Contribute to audits, meetings, and continuous improvement Essential Requirements BDS or recognised equivalent Registered with the General Dental Council NHS dentistry experience and knowledge of NHS systems Desirable Postgraduate interest in prosthodontics, endodontics, or periodontics Interest in mentoring junior clinicians Familiar with intraoral scanning (Trios Move+ scanners) About PortmanDentex Part of a leading UK & Ireland dental group with 350+ practices and 1.5M patients annually — focused on putting people first while giving clinicians genuine clinical freedom.
