Under the oversight of the Head of Practice, the Associate Director will:
- Work as a hands-on project manager, guiding junior analysts and associates in delivering bespoke research for litigation and disputes.
- Build and deepen client relationships while driving business growth by identifying and nurturing new opportunities.
- Engage as a white-glove partner to high-value clients, ensuring satisfaction through strategic and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Business Growth
- Maintain trust-based partnerships with clients as the go-to provider of actionable intelligence.
- Collaborate with practice leadership to innovate in client outreach, signing off strategic proposals and budgets.
- Develop and cultivate relationships with potential new clients through targeted business development initiatives.
Project Delivery & Quality Control
- Align with client briefs to design and oversee exclusive research plans.
- Manage analysts and associates on individual assignments, including drafting/reviewing reports, coordinating with human sources, and providing mentorship.
Operational & Administrative Oversight
- Lead collection activities and receivables to ensure financial health.
- Oversee internal project timelines and financial tracking.

Marketing & External Presence
- Represent Sigma7 at industry events, conference panels, and speaking engagements.
- Contribute to brand storytelling by co-creating marketing collateral, media content, and social messaging.
- Expand and leverage networks of human sources to enhance research quality.
Collaborative Leadership
- Compile campaign files for operational considerations.
- Serve as a consulting advisor on regional/sector-specific challenges, supporting colleagues with insights.
Skills & Experience Requirements
Essential Qualifications
- 8–10 years’ experience in business intelligence, ideally litigation/disputes support specialism.
- Proven ability to build and sustain commercial relationships, with a hands-on reputation.
- Regional or sectoral expertise in commercial, legal, and regulatory dynamics.
- Agile project planning and prioritisation skills (incl. delegation and adapting to client demands).
- Superlative written and spoken English, with a knack for simplifying complex narratives.
