Associate / Associate Director (Architect) | Industrial & Logistics | London | Competitive Salary

If you've built a strong reputation within the Industrial & Logistics sector and you're looking for the opportunity to shape something rather than simply inherit it, this role offers exactly that. You'll join an established, multidisciplinary AJ100 practice with a respected presence in the sector, but with genuine freedom to influence its future direction. Rather than stepping into a role where everything is already defined, you'll have the opportunity to help grow the sector, strengthen client relationships and make your mark on both projects and the business itself. For someone who enjoys combining design leadership, commercial thinking and team development, it's a chance to take ownership while being supported by an ambitious practice that backs good ideas and gives people the responsibility they're ready for.

You'll lead the delivery of Industrial & Logistics projects from concept through to completion, acting as lead designer across all RIBA stages while working closely with clients, consultants and internal multidisciplinary teams. Alongside project leadership, you'll play a key role in developing new business opportunities, nurturing existing client relationships and helping shape the future pipeline within the sector. You'll mentor and support colleagues, provide technical leadership and use your experience to influence both project outcomes and wider business strategy. This role would suit someone with a proven track record in Industrial & Logistics, strong commercial awareness and the confidence to lead major projects while helping grow a specialist sector.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
