Associate Director, Brand Outsourcing Strategy and Offering Development

Associate Director, Brand Outsourcing Strategy and Offering Development

IQVIA—a leading global provider of advanced analytics, technology solutions, and clinical research services to the life sciences industry—is dedicated to creating intelligent connections that deliver unique innovations and actionable insights. With operations spanning over 100 countries and approximately 90,000 employees, we help speed drug development, ensure product quality, improve commercial effectiveness, and drive better health outcomes.

We are seeking an Associate Director, Brand Outsourcing Strategy and Offering Development to join our team in supporting the Global Commercial Solutions business unit.

About the Role

Commercial Brand Outsourcing represents a significant share of sales across launch and established brand portfolios in pharmaceutical companies—yet much growth remains untapped. In this key role, you will support the development of the Brand Outsourcing Offering, report to the Global Head of Commercial Brand Outsourcing, and focus on three critical areas:

  • Offering strategy and development
  • Sales enablement (including client engagement)
  • Operational alignment

You will coordinate with global and local stakeholders, identify growth opportunities, and lead high-profile initiatives in a dynamic environment.

Essential Functions

  • Lead the identification of new assets, acquisitions, and partner channels to accelerate portfolio expansion and market potential.
  • Develop complete offerings (from Insights & Analytics (I&A) through Commercialization & Support (C&S)) and ensure competitiveness.
  • Make offering lifecycle decisions (sunset, extension, or scaling) to drive business results.
  • Align IQVIA strategic direction with offering management and serve as the spokesperson internally and externally.
  • Secure organizational agreement on go-to-market (GTM) plans and budgets, approving research plans aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage cross-functional teams to ensure offerings meet customer needs while being economically and technically viable.
  • Drive business objectives, scope interdependencies with stakeholders, and proactively execute plans despite challenges.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
